Data & files / JSON Rows
Turn JSON into a clean CSV table
Convert JSON objects or JSON Lines into CSV. Flatten nested fields, preview the columns, and download locally without uploading your data.
Bring your JSON
Up to 2 MB, 20,000 records, and 100 output columns. Files stay on your device.
Paste records, choose a file, or try the example.
A table you can use
Prefixes cells starting with =, +, -, @, tabs, or newlines with an apostrophe. Negative numbers become text too. Switch off for exact trusted imports.
No upload. No account. Your source stays untouched.
From objects to columns
Make an export easier to inspect.
JSON is useful for applications, but a table can be easier to review, sort, or hand to a colleague. JSON Rows finds the fields across your records and builds one consistent set of columns.
Start with an array of objects, a single object, or newline-delimited JSON. Every record becomes one row. Fields that are missing from a record become blank cells.
What happens to nested fields?
With flattening on, a field such as stock.shelf gets a column of its own. Literal dots and backslashes in key names are escaped with a backslash, and an empty key becomes \e, so different paths cannot silently collide. Flattening is limited to 12 levels.
What happens to lists and empty values?
Arrays remain JSON text in one cell; they do not multiply rows. Null becomes a blank cell. Empty objects remain {}. Without flattening, every nested object stays as JSON text.
Will numbers and IDs stay exact?
Quoted strings such as "001" stay strings in the output. Numeric JSON values use the browser's number precision. Unsafe integers and non-finite results are rejected; quote large IDs and precision-sensitive decimals as strings before importing. Your spreadsheet may infer types when opening a CSV.
Can it read an API address?
No. Paste the exported records or open a local file. There is no account connection, API request, or file upload. Duplicate JSON keys follow standard browser parsing: the last occurrence wins.
