Take a break with a six-by-six Sudoku
Play a small daily Sudoku with the numbers 1–6. Choose gentle or challenge puzzles, check conflicts, and use up to three hints. No account needed.
Choose a cell, then a number.
Six numbers. One small break.
A little room for logic.
Fill each row, each column, and each thickly outlined 2 × 3 box with the numbers 1 through 6. No repeats.
These buttons and changing the puzzle style start over immediately. Your current entries are not saved.
Start with what’s missing.
Look for a row or box with only one or two empty cells. Compare those missing numbers with the intersecting column.
Tap a cell and use the keypad, or type 1–6 on a keyboard. Arrow keys move between cells. Delete, Backspace, or 0 clears your entry. Clues cannot be changed.
A shorter daily puzzle
Small enough for a coffee break.
This smaller Sudoku has six rows and six columns, with boxes that are two cells high and three cells wide. The same no-repeat rule applies to all three. You do not need arithmetic, only a little deduction.
Every generated puzzle is checked for exactly one solution. Gentle puzzles start with more clues. Challenge puzzles remove more clues while keeping a unique answer; the number of clues is a guide, not a difficulty rating.
How does the daily puzzle work?
Everyone with the same puzzle style gets the same board for the UTC date shown above. UTC can be a different date from your local calendar. “Today’s puzzle” restarts that board; “New puzzle” creates another one. A daily puzzle already open stays on screen until you choose another.
What do the highlights mean?
Shaded numbers are fixed clues. The selected cell has a strong outline, and matching numbers are highlighted. A repeated number gets an underline and a warm background. “Check conflicts” finds repeats; it does not prove every entry is correct.
How do hints and timing work?
You can use up to three hints. A hint fills the selected editable cell with its correct number, or finds another unfinished cell. Timing starts with your first entry or hint and continues if you switch tabs. Completing a puzzle with hints still counts as a completion, with hints shown on the saved result.
Will my puzzle be saved?
Progress stays only in this tab. Refreshing, closing, starting another puzzle, or changing style clears it. You can download a text copy after solving. There is no account, leaderboard, or streak tracker. Your puzzle entries are not uploaded.
