Games & puzzles / Letter Loop

Find six little words in a jumble of letters

Use a clue and rearrange letter tiles in a small daily or fresh word game. Choose five-letter or longer words, take a hint, and save a completed result.

01

A small word break

Six words, one clue at a time. Tap the letter tiles in order, or focus the puzzle and type on your keyboard.

Enter checks your word. Backspace removes the last letter. Escape clears your selection. Tap a selected letter to remove it.

A hint shows the first letter. Reveal shows the answer and records it separately from words you solve.

02

Put the letters in their places

A clue and a handful of letters

Give a jumble a meaning.

Look at the clue, rearrange the tiles, and find the matching word. Repeated letters have separate tiles, and every tile belongs in the answer.

Play a shared daily set or try a fresh one. There is no account, leaderboard, or time limit.

Which words are accepted?

Each round has one intended English word that matches its clue. Other anagrams may be valid words but will not finish that round. The small built-in catalog has 40 five-letter words and 40 words of six or seven letters, with original clues.

How do hints and reveals affect the result?

A first-letter hint marks that word as solved with help if you finish it. Reveal records the answer as revealed. After all six rounds are resolved, the result separates words solved without a hint, solved with a hint, and revealed.

When does the daily set change?

Daily sets use the UTC date and selected word length. Everyone using the same date and length gets the same six words and tiles. An open game stays as it is until you load another set.

What happens to my progress?

Progress stays in this tab and clears on refresh. Time starts on your first tile, hint, or reveal and includes time away from the tab. It stops after the sixth round. You can then save a text result with every answer and its outcome.
