Turn two cards to look for a pair.

A small game of remembering

Where was the other one?

Turn two cards at a time. Matching symbols stay face up. A miss turns back after one second. Find every pair to finish the board.

Changing size or choosing a board resets the current game. Restart keeps the same card positions.

Give each card a place.

Try remembering a symbol together with its row or corner. There is no countdown or penalty for taking your time.

Use a mouse or touch, or move with the arrow keys and turn a card with Enter or Space. Symbols have text labels too.

Two at a time

A familiar game, ready for a short break.

Quick Pairs puts a small board of symbols in front of you. Each has exactly one partner. Every two different cards you turn count as one move, whether they match or not.

Try the daily layout, make a fresh board, or restart the same one to see which positions you remember. There is no account, public score, or leaderboard.

What makes the daily board daily?

The displayed UTC date and selected pair count determine the layout. Players with the same date and size get the same positions. The date can differ from your local calendar. An open board stays in place until you choose another one.

When does the timer run?

It starts on the first flip and stops when the last pair is found. Time continues if you switch tabs. It is a casual elapsed-time display, not a verified competition clock.

Can I flip a third card during a miss?

No. The two unmatched cards stay visible for one second, then turn back. This keeps a rapid click from accidentally opening extra cards. Matched pairs remain visible and cannot be selected again.

Is progress saved?

Progress stays in this tab and clears on refresh or closing. After finishing, you can save a text result with the board, moves, and elapsed time. No moves, symbol choices, or scores are uploaded.
