Changes the motif size or line thickness.
Give it some color
Make a small tile that repeats into a bigger pattern.
A pattern with no edges
Use it as a web background
Made in your browser. No images, accounts, or uploads needed.
Start small. Repeat.
Make a background that belongs to your project.
A repeating tile can cover a card, a slide, a web page, or a printable label without needing a giant image. Pick a simple shape, tune its spacing, and use your own colors.
The preview shows many copies together. The downloaded file contains one tile, designed to repeat in both directions. Choose SVG for a crisp, scalable version, or PNG for an image editor.
Why is the downloaded image small?
It is one repeating tile, between 24 and 240 pixels square. Place copies edge-to-edge or set your design app’s pattern-fill option. On a website, keep the SVG and the optional CSS file together and apply the pattern-background class to your element.
Can I use transparent backgrounds?
Yes. Both SVG and PNG preserve transparency when the option is selected. The checker texture behind the preview shows transparent space and is not part of the download. Your pattern color remains opaque.
Can I use these in my own work?
Yes. You may use these generated geometric tiles for personal or commercial projects without attribution. Keep a copy of the exported file: there is no account or saved design history.
Why do very small lines look softer?
PNG stores pixels, so fine diagonal lines can look soft at small sizes. SVG preserves the shapes. Some apps can also show hairline seams at fractional zoom levels; align repeated tiles to whole pixels or use the SVG with the supplied background size.
