Give every place a name with fold-over cards

Create printable name tents with optional details, cut guides, and two readable faces. Make compact or wide cards on A4 or Letter without an account.

01

Give each place a name

Add 1–60 names. Use an optional | to separate a name from a role, table, or short note. Each part can have up to 60 characters.

A little sign for a table, workshop, or gathering.

02

Print, cut, and fold

Choose matching portrait paper, 100% scale, and no browser headers or footers. Print on one side only. The preview shows one page; print includes every page.

Put a name on the table

A small card, readable from both sides.

Make name tents for a workshop, place cards for a meal, or labels for a display. Add a name and an optional detail, then print a batch in the order you entered it.

The two faces share one flat card. Cut around the dashed outline, fold at the dotted center, and stand it up like a little roof.

Why is half the text upside down?

That half becomes the back of the tent. After folding, both faces read upright from their respective sides. Use single-sided printing, not duplex.

Will the cards have the stated size?

The SVG and print pages use physical millimeters. Print at 100% or actual size on the matching A4 or Letter paper. “Fit to page” and other printer scaling can change the result. Compact cards are 90 × 90 mm before folding; wide cards are 180 × 100 mm.

How are long or repeated names handled?

Names wrap and shrink to fit. Short names will be larger and easier to read at a distance. Repeated names are preserved, and empty lines are ignored. The | character separates the optional detail and cannot be used inside either label.

Are these saved online?

No. Names and card generation stay in your browser. Save a PDF or each SVG page before closing the tab. Stiffer paper usually stands up better; use a paper weight your printer supports.
