Turn one image into a little family of icons
Create six PNG sizes and a multi-size ICO from a local image. Preview small favicons, choose framing and transparency, and download a ZIP with integration snippets.
A little family of icons
See the small sizes before adding them to your site.
HTML head tags
Manifest icons fragment
Merge into an existing manifest. This fragment is not a complete app configuration.
From one image to several sizes
Give a tab something recognizable.
Make a compact icon set for a personal page, prototype, or small web app. Check how the design reads at 16, 32, and 48 pixels before using the larger versions.
Everything is drawn in your browser. Your source stays on your device; the download contains freshly rendered icons, not the original file or its metadata.
What is in the ZIP?
Six PNGs at 16, 32, 48, 180, 192, and 512 pixels; one ICO containing the three smallest sizes; HTML tags; an icons-only manifest fragment; and setup notes. The larger manifest icons use purpose “any,” not “maskable.”
How do I use it?
Copy the image files to the folder you selected and add the HTML tags to your site's head. Merge the icon entries into an existing web app manifest if you use one. Check your framework's asset paths. Icons alone do not make an app installable or available offline. Devices and browser caches can delay updates.
How are cropping and transparency handled?
Fit preserves the whole image. Crop takes a centered square first. Both add the selected padding inside the square output. Clear padding and source alpha are preserved when transparency is selected, except in the always-opaque Apple touch icon.
What image should I choose?
A simple square logo with strong contrast works well at small sizes. The tool accepts one PNG, JPEG, or WebP up to 10 MiB, 40 megapixels, and 16,000 pixels per side. Preparation reduces the longest side to at most 2,048 pixels. Small images are enlarged when needed; new detail cannot be recovered. Animated inputs become one still frame. SVG and other formats are not supported.
